Each year on this feast of St Blaise I administer the Blessing of Throats, which always seems to tempt a few extra people to church! The Sacramentals that interact with people's day to day lives and concerns still seem to hold some value. It's a great pity that we've lost so many of them along the way.Thursday at 7pm is our usual evening for Devotions (Novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and Benediction) so there will be the Blessing of Throats as well this evening.
